How it works

Simple rules, no surprises.

We are a family yard on Lakeside Road. Ten years of renting have taught us that clear rules make happy riders, so here they all are.

Licence

Category A for every motor vehicle, K for scooters only, or an International Driving Permit with motorcycles. Bicycles need none.

Deposit

From Rs 2,000 (bicycle) to Rs 20,000 (Himalayan, CRF), in cash or by card. Back in full when the vehicle is. We never keep passports.

Fuel

You get it with fuel in the tank; bring it back with the same level. Electric scooters come fully charged with a charger.

Helmets

One good helmet with every motor vehicle, free. A second one is Rs 100 a day. Wearing it is the law, and our rule too.

Breakdowns

Call or WhatsApp any time. Within 25 km of Lakeside we come to you; further out, we pay the local mechanic.

Insurance

Third-party insurance is included. Damage to the vehicle is yours up to the deposit, so ride as if it were your own.

Our yard

Serviced after every ride.

Every vehicle comes back to the yard, gets its chain, brakes, tyres and lights checked, and is washed before the next rider. Each one has a number, and its own service log.

Questions

Asked every day.

Can I return the vehicle early?

Yes. Days you don't use are refunded if you tell us by 10 am that day.

Can I pick up before 8 am for Sarangkot sunrise?

Collect the evening before at no extra cost. Your rental simply starts the day before.

Can I take the vehicle to Kathmandu or Chitwan?

Motorbikes, yes, if you tell us when you book. Scooters stay within 100 km of Pokhara.

What if it rains?

Add a rain suit. If a monsoon day makes riding unsafe, we move your booking to another day for free.

Do you have child helmets?

Yes, in two sizes, free. Children must be 8 or older to ride pillion.

Ask the yard

Which vehicle, which road, group bookings. We reply on WhatsApp, usually within the hour.
